EQUIPMENT DISTRIBUTION FALL 2006 IPOD COURSE PROGRAM Distribution of equipment for individuals associated with courses that have received official iPod designation for Fall
2006 is about to begin. Distribution arrangements have been made according to the individuals role in the course.
These arrangements apply to only those courses that are part of the formal iPod course program and that have
received approved status as of 8/14/06
. In all cases, the iPods distributed will be refurbished, Apple-certified 5th
generation video iPods; Belkin TuneTalk microphone attachments will also be provided. The iPods come with the
standard Apple warranty ( http://www.apple.com/legal/warranty/ipodisight.html) that went into effect on August 1, 2006. As you will be responsible for any charges for non-warranty service or for shipping during the second half of the
one-year standard warranty, we strongly encourage you and your students to purchase the extended AppleCare
warranty before the initial warranty expires. Please visit http://www.apple.com/education/ and click on Shop to access the online Apple Store for Education and information about educational pricing for the iPod AppleCare warranty.
